Bath area (Kaiserbad'l)
Our pool is daily open in summer from 10.00 am to 07.30 pm and in winter from 03.00 pm to 07.30 pm.
The sauna is also heated from 03.00 pm (winter) | 04.00 pm (summer) to 07.30 pm.
You can find towels in the bathing area.

Bathrobe
During your stay we provide you with a bathrobe if you booked our Sommerhof-full board (only available for adults). If you want to change it during your stay, please inform the reception. (per bathrobe € 5,00)

Breakfast
From 07.30 am to 10.00 am we offer you in our restaurant a wonderful, varied breakfast buffet.

Bus
Directly in front of our hotel is the bus stop of the local bus. This bus goes via Bad Goisern to Bad Ischl. Or with a change in Gosau-Gosaumühle to Hallstatt and Obertraun. A bus schedule and more information can be obtained at the reception or online oebb.at.

From 03.00 pm to 04.30 pm we invite you at Sommerhof-Sonnenpension booking to coffee or tea and delicious cakes in our bar and lounge area.

At the reception you will find lot of information and brochures about the excursion destinations in the region. Our reception staff will be happy to help you.

Fire alarm

Our house is equipped with the latest technology. There is a fire detector in every room that will sound the alarm if needed. Never use the elevator in case of alarm.

Flowers
We are pleased to organize a flower bouquet for your special occasion. Please order in time (2 days before) and keep in mind that Sunday and public holiday need 3 days before notice.

Games
The games can be borrowed at the chest of drawers in the bar area. We kindly ask you to take care of the games and to return them latest every evening. Please do not take the games with you to your room. Only use the games in the area of our bar and the winter garden.

Highchair
If your child needs a highchair in the restaurant please contact a member of our service team.

House keeping
Take place between 09.00 am and 04.00 pm! The linen is changed for ecological reasons after 7 days. If you require a change of bed linen, please inform the reception. We charge € 12,00 per bed.

House rules
In order to allow a good togetherness between all guests, we would like to point out the following points:

Swimming Pool:
Please note that toddlers must wear swim nappies to use our swimming pool! (at the reception for purchase) Please do not take any plates or glasses with you to the swimming pool! (Danger because of broken glass and plates and bees.)

Bar area (coffee & cake – time):
Please don’t sit with wet swimwear on our upholstered furniture.

Dress code for dinner:
We ask all our guests to come up with appropriate clothing for dinner. (no bath slippers, no muscle shirts, knee-length pants)

Nighttime peace:
From 09:00 pm nighttime peace is considered in our corridors! For social evenings or game evenings you can take advantage of our bar area!

Garden play area:
The play equipment in the garden is there for our children and may only be used up to a weight of 60 kilos! Use at your own risk.

Tobacco goods:
We are a non-smoking hotel, as mentioned, it is only allowed to smoke in front of the hotel entrance or on the balconies, including e-cigarettes! For smoking in the room, we charge one day extra.

Winter Season:

• Delicious breakfast buffet (7:30 to 10:00 a.m.) with bread and pastries from the Maislinger bakery and sausages from our Gosau farmers.
• small lunch buffet (12:00 to 14:00) - (on the day of arrival and departure this is not included, but can be booked additionally).

Illness
Despite daily cleaning of the family area, we can not guarantee that there are no infections (mostly harmless cold viruses etc) within the hotel. However through highest food safety and hygiene standard we can rule out infections caused by the hotel.

Luggage service
A luggage trolley is located at the second entrance. You are welcome to use it but we ask you to return the trolley so other guests can use it too. If you need assistance with your luggage please contact our front office team.

Minibar
Would you like that we fill your minibar? Then please bring your minibar-order until 05.00 pm to the reception. You can find order forms in your room. Please note that all opened items will be charged to your hotel account. You are also welcome to order the drinks at our hotel bar "STOFFENLOUNGE" and take them to your room.

Nonalcoholic drinks
In our Sommerhof-Sonnenpension you can enjoy different non-alcoholic beverage self-service based from our juice fountain from 09.00 am to 09.00 pm. (These are not included on the day of departure.) Please only use the glasses and cups provided for filling. It is not allowed to fill your own water bottles from the juice fountain.

Payment
At departure we accept cash, Mastercard and Visa Card as well as Maestro Bank Card. We do not accept American Express Cards! Please check your personal daily limit!

Post
Your private post mail can be sent via reception desk. If you receive post mail and newspapers, you can pick them up at the reception.

Room cards
You get the key cards at your arrival. Please don’t forget the cards when you go to the bathing area, ski cellar or when you want to enter our second entrance.

Safe
You will find a safe with key or code in your room. You get the key for the safe at the reception. Please store your valuables in the safe. If you need assistance please contact our front office team. Our safes are insured up to a value of 1500 Euro. (Prerequisite: on leaving the rooms - windows / balcony door closed & room door closed)

Sauna
Open daily from 03.00 pm (winter) | 04.00 pm (summer) to 07.30 pm. The sauna is located in our Bathing area (Kaiserbad’l) on the ground floor.

Sense of well-being
We want to support you on your way to regeneration. If something is not okay, please don’t hesitate and let us know.

Shopping
You can buy groceries, everyday items as well as sporting goods in one of the shops at the big intersection in Gosau.
Opposite the hotel you will find baked goods and gifts.

Ski cellar
You find our ski cellar at the lift station “Hornspitzbahn” (In the building of the ski rental and the ticket window). You find a yellow glass door left beside the ticket window. This door is daily open from 08.00 am to 05.00 pm. You can open the interior door with our key card. For the locker you will get the key at the arrival day. Per room just only one ski box!
Attention: Please don’t lose the key of your ski box. It costs € 100,-- to get a new one.

Please return the key of your ski box till 11am of your departure day to our reception team.

Smoking
For our families with children we have declared our hotel to a non-smoking hotel. Therefore, we like to point out that smoking is permitted only on the balcony or outside of the hotel entrance, also for e-cigarettes. When you smoke in the room an extra day will be charged.

Solarium
Our solarium is in the bathing area (Kaiserbad’l). Tokens are available at the reception. You can pay the tokens (€ 6,00 for 20 minutes) cash or at the end of your stay with your total account.

Swimming-equipment
If your children need some water wings, you will find some in the bathing area.

Teenie-room
In the basement you will find our chill & party room for our teens, opened from 08.00 am till 11.00 pm. Cool hours can be spent with the new boulder wall, Playstation, Bluetooth sound system, pool table, air hockey and much more.

Have you forgotten something at home? Toothpaste and toothbrush as well as hygiene items can be purchased at the reception for a fee. Needle and thread for emergency we have in many colors!

Voucher
Give away what everyone needs and does not have: Time! Tell us, to whom and how many days you want to give away and you will receive a gift voucher, which is issued with the desired services to the designated person. The settlement is between you and us, quite discreetly. The recipient receives and enjoys.

To get a gift voucher for your friend or loved one, you can do use the voucher form. Alternatively you can ask for it at our reception.
